Equity Toward People and Meeting with Hazrat Wali 'Asr (aj)

Outside View of Masjid e Sahla
A man of knowledge was longing for meeting with Hazrat Baqiyyat Allah Imam Mahdi (aj), and he suffered agonies of not being granted the chance and for a long time he underwent severe austerity and pursued spiritual seeking.

It is well-known among the tullab (Islamic seminary students) of Hawza in Najaf-i Ashraf and the scholars of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (a) that every one who finds the honor to go the Masjid-i Sahla to perform the evening and night prayers every Tuesday uninterruptedly for forty nights, they will be graced with meeting the Imam al-'Asr (aj) For a while, he struggled to this end but to no effect. Then he resorted to the occult sciences and numerical symbolism and started self-discipline and other ascetic and rigorous practices in seclusion, anxiously seeking to meet the Hidden Imam (aj) but all in vain. However, as a consequence of his nightly vigilance and lamenting and wailing at dawns, he had developed some kind of insight and intuition, and occasionally some illuminating flash would be graced on him. He would fall in ecstasy and rapture, often having certain visions and hearing some subtleties.

In one of these mystical states, he was told: "Your seeing and being granted an audience with Imam al-'Asr (aj) will not be possible, unless you make a trip to such and such a city. Quite difficult as it sounded at first, but for that sacred purpose, it appeared to be so convenient.

Imam al- 'Asr (aj) in the Blacksmiths' Bazaar
After several days the above-mentioned man arrived in that city and yet even there he carried on his self-discipline and ascetic practices in seclusion that intended to last forty days long. On the thirty seventh day, he was told: "Right now Hazrat Baqiyyat Allah, Imam al-'Asr (aj) is in the blacksmiths' bazaar, in a shop belonging to an old locksmith; so, be quick to go now and seek his audience.

He stood up and, as he had already seen in his ecstatic vision, rushed the way down to the old man's shop where he saw the Holy Imam (aj) sitting there and talking amiably with the locksmith. When he greeted, the holy Imam responded and beckoned to keep silent, (implying) watching for a wonderful scene.

The Equity of the Old Locksmith
At this moment I saw a bent, fragile, old woman with a walking stick who showed us a lock with her shaking hand and said: "Will you, for God's sake, buy this lock from me for "three shahis I need three shahis?

The old locksmith took a look at the lock and found it intact, and then said: "My sister! This lock costs "Two abbasis"   because its key will cost no more than "ten dinars" ; so if you give me ten dinars, I will make a key to this lock and then it will cost ten shahis."

The old woman answered: "No, I do not need that, I only need the money; if you buy this lock from me for three shahis, I will pray for you."

The old man said with utmost naivety: "My sister! You are a Muslim, and I too claim to be a Muslim. So why should I buy a Muslim's property for a low price and deny someone's right? This lock already costs eight shahis; if I want to benefit from it, I'll buy it for seven shahis, for it is unfair to make more that a shahi profit in a deal of only two abbasis. If you are sure you want to sell it, I'll buy it for seven shahis, and I repeat again, the real price is two abbasis. Since I am a businessman I buy it for one shahi less.

The old woman perhaps would not believe what the man said. She was upset and complained that nobody had been willing to buy that price. She said she begged them to buy it for three shahis, because ten dinars would not have sufficed her. The old man paid seven shahis to the old woman and purchased it from her.

I will Visit him!
When the woman turned back to leave, the Imam (aj) said to me:

"My Dear! Did you watch the wonderful scene? You do likewise too, and become like that, then I will come to see you. There is no need for ascetic seclusion and resorting to Jafr (numerical symbolism). Self-discipline and various travels will not be required; instead show good action and be a Muslim so that I can interact with you. Of all people of this city, I picked out this old man, since this man is religious and knows God. And you observed the trial he went through: This old woman requested all in the bazaar, to fulfill her need and since they found her desperate and needy, they were all seeking to buy (her lock) cheap; and nobody bought it even for three shahis. This old man, however, bought it for its real price, i. e., seven shahis. Thus, every week I pay a visit to him and show kindness and amiability to him."

Seeking help from Ahlulbayt(a.s) or saying Ya Ali Madad

The answer to this question would be in 3 parts.

1)Can the dead hear? - Let us analyze this from Quran and ahadith of Holy prophet (s.a.w.s)
Quran mentions the Prophet Salih’s speech to the dead. This speech was made after his nation had been destroyed.

[7:77] Then they ham-strung the she camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: “O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!”

[ 7:78] So the earthquake took them unawares, and they lay prostrate in their homes in the morning!

[ 7:79] So Salih left them, saying: “O my people! I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but ye love not good counsellors!”

Please note that Quran testifies that Salih addressed to his nation who had already been perished by Allah. This shows clearly that souls of the dead can Hear, otherwise what is the meaning of Salih’s address to them?. Or do the Salafies think that Salih did a Useless and Polytheistic Act (as according to Ibne Abdul Wahab one become Mushrik if one think that they can hear)? And why Allah also mentioned this useless and polytheistic Act in Quran?

Secondly, why do Salafies believe that when Salih says to his dead nation “Ya Qaumi”(O my people) then it is ok. But when we say “Ya Rasool Allah” or "Ya Ali", then it is Shirk?. Now I will quote a hadith from Sahih al Bukhari that clarifies whether dead can hear or not.

Volume 2, Book 23, Number 452 :
Narrated by Ibn 'Umar
The Prophet looked at the people of the well (the well in which the bodies of the pagans killed in the Battle of Badr were thrown) and said, "Have you found true what your Lord promised you?" Somebody said to him, "You are addressing dead people." He replied, "You do not hear better than they but they cannot reply."

So from this Ahadith and above verses from Quran it is clear that dead can hear and they can hear better than living person as mentioned by Holy prophet (s.a.w.s) in the last part of above ahadith.

(Part 2)-Can dead help?I would quote for you a part of ahadith from sahih bukhari which clarifies whether or not dead can help.

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 345 : Narrated by Abu Dhar- ....... The Prophet said, "Then Allah enjoined fifty prayers on my followers when I returned with this order of Allah, I passed by Moses who asked me, 'What has Allah enjoined on your followers?' I replied, 'He has enjoined fifty prayers on them.' Moses said, 'Go back to your Lord (and appeal for reduction) for your followers will not be able to bear it.' (So I went back to Allah and requested for reduction) and He reduced it to half. When I passed by Moses again and informed him about it, he said, 'Go back to your Lord as your followers will not be able to bear it.' So I returned to Allah and requested for further reduction and half of it was reduced. I again passed by Moses and he said to me: 'Return to your Lord, for your followers will not be able to bear it. So I returned to Allah and He said, 'These are five prayers and they are all (equal to) fifty (in reward) for My Word does not change.' I returned to Moses and he told me to go back once again. I replied, 'Now I feel shy of asking my Lord again......

Hazrat Musa a.s died long before meraj even then he talked to holy prophet s.a.w.s during meraj and helped him to reduce the no prayers, so a person who believes that dead can’t help then he or she should pray 50 prayers (namaz) as prophet Muhammad s.a.w.s was helped by Prophet musa a.s to reduce the no of prayers to 5 and prophet musa died long before meraj. From this ahadith it is also clear that dead can hear as well as they can help us.

( Part 3)-  Is holy prophet(s.a.w.s) and Ahlulbayt (a.s) dead?

Some Muslims are of the opinion that seeking help from dead is shirk and they say calling Holy prophet (s.a.w.s) and Imams(a.s) is shirk. They argue that a person should not ask any person for help. But if a person is faced with a problem in life, then would this person not logically and naturally call upon a person nearby for help? If a person was about to drown and he called out for help, then would his seeking of help from one other than Allah make him a mushrik (associating one with Allah)? By the same reasoning, calling upon the Holy Prophet or the imams is not shirk. The argument that they cannot be called upon because they are dead is also invalid as I have mentioned in above 2 parts that dead can listen and help us but now the question is whether Holy prophet(s.a.w.s) and Imam(a.s) are dead let us answer this from Holy Quran , Holy Quran mentions

1) “Think not of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Nay,they are alive with their Lord, and they have provision.”(Surah Aale Imran verse 169)

2)“And say not of those who are killed in the way of Allah,‘They are dead.’ Nay, they are living, but you perceive it
not.”(Surah Baqarah verse154)

If an ordinary Muslim was martyred (for the cause of Allah) is considered to be alive, then how could the Holy Prophet and his family, who were not only martyrs but whose rank also surpassed that of all other human beings, be considered dead? Calling upon the Holy Prophet and his family does not negate the fact that Allah is the source of help and rescue in this universe. However, because these people are closest to Him, and because they enjoy a special status with Him, calling upon them means calling upon Allah for the sake of those whom He loves.

I have tried my best to give all of u logical explanation with proofs from Holy Quran and Ahadith about why we Shias say Ya Ali madad or Ya Husain madad and I hope your doubt is cleared, even then If you have doubt regarding this topic plzz visit the below given link.

Duties of Shias Towards Imam-e-Zamana(a.s)

Excessively Cursing the Umayyads, openly and secretly

If there is no occasion of Taqayyah, fear or personal or social constraint it is recommended to narrate the evil deeds of Bani Ummayah and curse them from the pulpits and in gatherings. It is one of those acts that make one eligible for Allah's proximity

Shaykh Sadooq writes in Khisaal that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s) told Ali(a.s), "O Ali! Bani ummayah will curse you and for each curse an angel will curse them a thousand times. After his reappearance Qaem (a.s) will curse them for forty years."

It means Imam(a.s) will command his followers to curse the Bani Umayyah from every pulpit and in every gathering through out the world. It is the worldly punishment of the evil deeds of Bani Ummayah.

A photo from Qatar's emir visit to Israel

Qatar's emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani a "Salafi" shaking hands with Israeli leader Tzipi Lvini, Let us analyze this image

1)First of all this is not a photoshop edited image, it is a real image of the visit by qatari leader in Israel.

2)Secondly it is haraam in Islam for men to shake hands with a na mahram women and vice versa but this wahabbi lea
der of Qatar is openly doing this sin which is showing that wahabbism is not Islam but is the creation of Abdullah ibn Wahab and Ibn Taymiyah(l.a).

3)Thirdly these wahabbis are sharing same agenda as that Zionist dictatorship of Israel, because when a Qatari king visits Israel shakes hands with the government official of the state of Israel it means they are supporting the crimes commited by the zionist government in Gaza, Lebanon, Palestine and are part of it and most importantly that they share friendship.

4)And for the people who shout that Shias are having the same agenda as that of Israel should give proofs and please don't create mockery of yourself by sharing a photoshop edited image in ur try to ascribe lie upon shias, plzz come above of ur childish behaviour. In India we are having a phrase of hindi which fits very well to this salafi people when they try to show relation between shias and jews and it is "ULTA CHOR KOTWAL KO DAANTE".

Benefits of reciting surah Ikhlaas

Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s.) has said that if a person recites this verse once, Allah will
shower Blessings on him. When the person recites it twice, Allah will Bless his children.
If the person recites the verse thrice, Allah will also Bless the person’s friends. Thus, the
more a person recites this verse, the more he shall be Blessed by Allah. For reciting the
verse a thousand times, the person will get the august status of a martyr.
While the Prophet of Allah (a.s.) was offering the funeral prayer of Saad bin Ma-aaz, he
noticed that seventy thousand angels were present at the prayer. He asked Jibraeel the
reason for this honor to the dead person. Jibraeel replied that he used to recite Sura e
Iqlas frequently.

· Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s.) has said, “ If you desire Allah’s protection from your
enemies, recite Sura e Iqlas on your six sides, that is, right, left, up, down , front and
back.”
· And when you go to confront a superior, recite this verse thrice in front of the person
and at every recitation close one finger of you left hand. With Allah’s help you will
come out successful!”
· Then the Imam (a.s.) said, “ If a person has not recited the Surat al Iqlas for one
week, his Reckoning will be along with the accursed abu Lahab”
· The Imam (a.s.) further said, “ If one is suffering from an ailment, and doesn’t take
help from this verse, then he is a denizen of the Hell.
· Also said, “ If your believe in Allah and the Day of Judgement, then after the
mandatory prayers don’t forget to recite Sura e Iqlas. Allah will pardon the sins of
your forbears and your offspring.

· Hazrat Ali (a.s.) has said, “ A person who recites the Sura e Iqlas eleven times after
the mandatory morning prayer, the Satan cannot make him commit a sin even if he
tempts the person a hundred thousand times.”
· Also Ameer al Momineen (a..s.) said,” When a person recites the verse in the night,
Allah will depute fifty thousand angels to keep vigil the whole night.”

· Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s) has said, “ When a person reads Sura e Iqlas it is like
reading a third of the Quran, a third of Torah , Injeel and Zaboor.”

· Also the Imam (a.s.) said, “ Allah has subjugated fever to Hazrat Fatima Zehra (a.s.)
in lieu of the Garden of Fadak. Therefore if a friend of the Ahl al Bayt recites Sura e
Iqlas a thousand times and blows over a person suffering from high fever, the person
will recover with Allah’s Help.”

· Imam Reza (a.s.) has said, “ If one sits near a sick person, recites Surat al Fateha, Al
Iqlas, Qul Aooz berabinnaas, Qul Aoozo berabbil falaq and touches the face of the
ailing person, Insha Allah, the sickness will vanish.”

wife Till the pregnancy becomes evident, keep placing your hand near the umbilicus of
your wife and recite the verse every night.” When the person adopted this practice, his
wife became pregnant and he was blessed with seven sons thereafter.
The Imam (a.s.) also said, “ One who recites the verse Inna anzalna in the prayers instead

having forty rows of angels praying the mandatory prayers standing behind him.

Reciting this verse in the prayers protects one from the machinations of his enemies.

            SURAT AL MAUZATEEN(Naas and Falaq)
Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s.) say, “ There are two verses, an Naas and Falaq, that when
they were revealed, the Prophet (a.s.) was having fever and this verse was used as an
amulet for him and he recovered.

                  SURAT AL KAAFEROON
Imam Jafar e Sadiq (a.s.) has said, “ When a person recites Surat al Kaaferoon and
Iqlas during the mandatory prayers, Allah will pardon his parents and siblings. If he is a
callous( Shaqi) person, Allah will remove his name from the roster of such persons and

Imam Reza (a.s.) has said that it is a fact that there will be effect of bad eyes. A person

What is Islam?

Aban ibn Abi Ayyash has narrated from Sulaym  ibn Qays al Hilali:

A person came to Imam Ali (AS) and asked a question concerning Islam, So Imam  Ali(a.s) said: “Allah (s.u.b.t) sent Islam and made its  Laws easy for those who accepted Islam and made its pillars strong against those who bear enmity towards it, and for those who befriend Islam, He made Islam their dignity and for those who accept it, Islam s peace and it is guide for the followers, it is decoration. For those who associate themselves to Islam it is beneficial for them. For those who want to safeguard themselves from with it, it is a strong rope and for those who accept, it is a cord. Those who acquire its knowledge it is an argument and those who want to enlighten with it, it is a light. Those who want to overpower an enemy with it, it is a witness. Those who make it a judge, it is a success for them and those who remember it, for them it is knowledge. Those who narrate it, it is Hadith  for them. Those who want a decision through it, it is command, and it is patience for those who want experience through it. To those who think through it, it is intelligence and is the cure. It is understanding for those who work with intelligence, and for those who act with understanding it is surety. For those who work with determination it is understanding with heart. For those who make it a mark it is a sign. Those who want advice from it, it is a lesson. For the honest one, it is success. It is love for those who put themselves right. For those who are near it, it is a source of nearness; for those who depend on it, it is trust; those who leave all their tasks on it, it is hope. For the one who has faith it is a cave and for the one who bows his head, it is shelter. For the honest one it is pleasure. For the pious one it is advice, and for the successful ones it is success. It is truth, its way is guidance, its attributes is goodness, and its effect is greatness. From all the ways it is brightest and from all minarets it is most enlightened. Its light is very bright and its end is very high. Its ground is very easy; it is a center of goodness. Everyone wants to go forward with it.And its punishment is painful, its blessing is very old, and the useful things are from ever before. Its riders are reputable, its way is faith, and its good deeds are its minaret. Understanding is its light - death is its end, this world is its ground, the day of resurrection is its result. Heaven is its present, Hell is its punishment (chastisement). Piety is its luggage and the good doer is its rider.

Good deeds are understood through faith, and through them understanding becomes inhibited and through understanding is fear of death, and this world reaches its end through death, and Duniya(amal) will pass on the day of judgment and the day of judgment brings nearer to Heaven and Heaven is the longing for the Hell dwellers and Hell is exhortation for the pious ones. Piety is a branch of faith. And this is Islam.”

Calamities on Janab-e- Fatema Zehra(s.a)

Shahadat of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) was a very sad moment for Janabe Fatema Zehra(s.a) as she(s.a) was the only daughter of Holy Prophet(s.a.w.s) and was loved very much by her dear father. Wounds of the Shahadat of Holy Prophet(s.a.w.s) were still sore in the heart of Bibi Fatema Zehra (s.a) that another calamity befell  on her, Abu bakr became the self proclaimed caliph selected by the politics of some power lovers and usurped the right of Hazrat Ali(a.s) husband of Bibi Fatema Zehra (s.a). After becoming the caliph Abu bakr also usurped the garden of fidak which was gifted to Janabe Fatema Zehra(s.a) by her father during His(s.a.w.s) lifetime on the arguement that prophets do not leave any inheritance. First of all this argument is untrue because it is against Holy Quran.

"And H.Sulaiman (a.s) was the inheritor of H.Dawood(a.s)" (Surah Naml, verse 16)

"When H.Zakariya prayed to his Lord for a son he said "O Lord! Grant me Son who will inherit from me and inherit from the progeny of H.Yaqub" (Surah Maryam, Verse 6)

If Prophets do not leave any inheritance why was Prophet Dawood an inheritor for Prophet Sulaiman and Prophet Yahya an inheritor for Prophet Zakariya and Aale Yaqub. No tradition of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) can ever be contrary to Holy Quran and if there exist any it is fake and void.

Secondly Garden of Fidak was not part of inheritance because Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) during his lifetime gifted this to Lady Fatema (s.a) and gifts given in the lifetime are not the part of inheritance. But Abu bakr and Umar were trapped by Satan's vices they forcefully besieged the Garden of Fidak from Lady Fatema (s.a). This was second calamity that befell on Janabe Fatema Zehra (s.a) after the Shahadat of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s).

Third and final calamity was eventually the most heart breaking one which eventually led to the Shahadat of this auspicious personality Lady Fatema Zehra (s.a). Hazrat Ali (a.s) did not paid the allegiance to Abubakr, so Abubakr and Umar decided to take the allegiance forcefully from Hazrat Ali (a.s). Umar along with his companions carrying burnt wooden sticks went towards the house of Hazrat Ali (a.s) and asked Ali(a.s) to pay the allegiance to caliphate of Abubakr or they will burn the house. When Lady Fatema (s.a) refuted they burnt the door and Lady Fatema came in between the door and the wall which caused her ribs to broke and her unborn child Hazrat Mohsin was martyred inside her womb and this eventually led to the martyrdom of Lady Fatema Zehra (s.a). This incident is mentioned in the most authentic and oldest book of Islam "Kitab Sulaym Ibn Qays al-Hilali" and it has been narrated in many Sunni books like

Tareekh Abi Fida'a, Vol. 1, p.156, published by Daar-ul-Maarefat, Beirut 1404 AH.

Al Oqd-ud-Fareed, vol. 5, p.13. published by Daar-ul-kutubul-Aalemiyaah, Beirut

The threat of Umar to burn down the house of Hazrat Ali (a.s)

Tareekh Tabari, vol. 2, p.223, published by Daar-ul-Kutubul-Aalemiyaah, Beirut 1408 AH

Even in Sahih al-Bukhari we find that Lady Fatema Zehra (s.a) died when she was angry with Abu Bakr and she willed to Hazrat Ali (a.s) to take her funeral procession in night and the persons responsible for her attrocities should not be part of it.

   Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 546 :

    Narrated by 'Aisha

"Fatima the daughter of the Prophet sent someone to Abu Bakr (when he was a caliph), asking for her inheritance of what Allah's Apostle had left of the property bestowed on him by Allah from the Fai (i.e. booty gained without fighting) in Medina, and fadak, and what remained of the Khumus of the Khaibar booty. On that, Abu Bakr said, "Allah's Apostle said, "Our property is not inherited. Whatever we leave, is Sadaqa, but the family of (the Prophet) Muhammad can eat of this property.' By Allah, I will not make any change in the state of the Sadaqa of Allah's Apostle and will leave it as it was during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle, and will dispose of it as Allah's Apostle used to do." So Abu Bakr refused to give anything of that to Fatima.
So she became angry with Abu Bakr and kept away from him, and did not task to him till she died. She remained alive for six months after the death of the Prophet. When she died, her husband 'Ali, buried her at night without informing Abu Bakr and he said the funeral prayer by himself. When Fatima was alive, the people used to respect 'Ali much, but after her death, 'Ali noticed a change in the people's attitude towards him. So Ali sought reconciliation with Abu Bakr and gave him an oath of allegiance."

In Sahih Bukhari we also find this ahadith from Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s)

  Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 57, Number 61 :

    Narrated by Al-Miswar bin Makhrama

Allah's Apostle said, "Fatima is a part of me, and he who makes her angry, makes me angry."

What we concluded from these two traditions is one who makes Lady Fatema angry infact makes Prophet angry, Thus Abu bakr and Umar by their actions made Janabe Fatema Zehra angry which eventually led to the anger of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) and anything that angers Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) will certainly anger Allah. And if anyone angers Allah then it will result in his destruction and annihilation. Allah says in the Holy Quran

"The one on whom My Anger descends will be destroyed". (Surah Taha; verse 81)

Janab-e-Fatema Zehra (s.a) eventually passed away on 3rd Jamaadi-ul-Aakhir 11 Hijri, we give our pursa to her son Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s) and pray for his(a.s) reappearance. O the greatest lady Fatema Zehra (s.a) make your intercession reach us on the Day of Judgement.

Jesus Predicts Prophet’s Coming in Old Bible

A secret Bible has been found in Turkey, in which Jesus Christ is believed to have foretold the coming of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) to the Earth.

Jesus Predicts Prophet’s Coming in Old Bible

“In line with Islamic belief, the Gospel treats Jesus as a human being and not a God,” Turkish culture and tourism minister Ertugrul Gunay told the Daily Mail.

“It rejects the ideas of the Holy Trinity and the Crucifixion and reveals that Jesus predicted the coming of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

The 1,500-year book is believed to be the Gospel of Barnabas, which Muslims believe is the original gospel.

St. Barnabas is traditionally identified as the founder of the Cypriot Church, an early Christian later named an apostle.

Gunay said the leather-bound text, written on animal hide, could be an authentic version of the Gospel, which was suppressed by the Christian Church for its strong parallels with the Islamic view of Jesus.

He said Pope Benedict XVI had officially requested to see the book, which was found by Turkish police during an anti-smuggle operations in 2000.

In the book, Jesus is believed to have predicted the coming of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

“In one version of the gospel, he is said to have told a priest: ‘How shall the Messiah be called? Muhammad (PBUH) is his blessed name’,” Gunay said.

“And in another, Jesus denied being the Messiah, claiming that he or she would be Ishmaelite, the term used for an Arab.”

Muslims believe in Jesus as one of the great Prophets of God and that he is the son of Mary but not the Son of God. He was conceived and born miraculously.

In the Noble Qur’an, Jesus is called "Isa". He is also known as Al-Masih (the Christ) and Ibn Maryam (Son of Mary).

As for his crucifixion, Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but was lifted up to heaven.

Muslims believe that Jesus will come back to earth before the end of time to restore peace and order, fight the Anti-Christ (Al-Masih Al-Dajjal) and bring victory for truth and righteousness.

The true followers of Jesus will prevail over those who deny him, misrepresent him and reject him.
